Thank you to all our past customers who supported us for up to six years. We really do appreciate all of you.
The price of beef, and the increasing costs associated with getting it ready for sale have forced us to suspend sales. We simply couldn’t absorb all the costs or pass them on to our clients and maintain a viable business.
We are not currently processing beef and are still developing Providence Farmstead to be our new permaculture-based sustainable property. For now, we do not have any livestock for processing or sale.
Our situation may change in the future, but we’re unclear what shape that may take, or when that may be.
Please continue to support other small producers and local farmers as much as you can by visiting farmers’ markets and making sure you check the authenticity of produce with stall holders. There are questions you can ask that only the farmer will know the answers to.
Better still, find a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) group/farm and sign up, or get involved with a subscription for your produce directly from a farm where you can visit to see the property and produce or livestock for yourself.
Thanks once again for your support, and we hope to meet again in the future.
